designed to comply with the specific requirements
of those who sail on Olympic Class dinghies, this
product has soon encountered the favour of many crews
of larger boats like Breeze, Brava Q8 (1srt IMS 50
Admirals Cup 1999), Merit Cup (Sydney 40 World champ
1999), Sissabella (Mumm30 World champ 1998) and many
others. Its unique composite construction, which combines
the excellent mechanical proprieties of Dyneema and
the effective grip of a particular non-slip fibre,
makes this line the perfect synthesis of lightness,
strength, durability and comfort. It is strong, it
runs well through turning blocks, it does not kink
and has outstanding handling qualities. Swiftcord
is recommended for any line that is adjusted frequently
by hand; either you are a top performance racer or
you sail just for fun, this is the line you would
like to feel in your hands.

values reported in the table were measured on samples
of new product and in laboratory conditions. Variations
up to 25% can occur with poor splices or very short
lengths. Presence of knots may reduce tensile strength
by over 50%. In order to preserve the properties
of the product and to avoid premature failures,
the working load must never exceed 20% of the breaking
strengths shown in the table above. Furthermore,
due to the physical properties of Dyneema®,
the product should never be used in environments
with temperature higher than 50°C. The product
should never get in contact with sharp edges when
loaded. Neither Gottifredi Maffioli S.p.A. nor its
suppliers will in any circumstances be liable for
any damage arising out of the improper use of the
