Racing Genoa halyard Dyneema 8mm 28m or 33m with Uncovered Splice

Made as a Genoa /Spinnaker halyard, in Dyneema 8mm diameter 28m or 33m length with cover full length, apart from the splice, this will be a stripped eye splice which will allow you to easily cow hitch on your existing shackle or new shackles. Ideal for racing or cruising allowing reduced diameter lines for easier and lighter rope handling. Dyneema, size for size, is the lightest technical fibre in production. Stripping the smooth 32 plait cover allow further weight reductions by 65% while retaining strength, stretch and wear characteristics. . The 12 strand dyneema core is pu coated to improve adhesion between core and cover giving outstanding performance in clutches and jammers and improving abrasion resistance when uncovered. Special features: Lightweight (lightest technical fibre), high strength. Smoother profile hard wearing 32 plait cover to reduce wear on rope and /blocks. Less friction gives faster running and quicker boat maneuvres. Cover can be stripped, Dyneema inner core Pu coated core with UV and abrasion protection. Suitable for racing and cruising. Easily spliced. Avalible with either a Wichard 2473 stainless snap shackle or a Tylaska T5 stainless steel snap shackle.
